2nd & 4th Wednesdays;

In the back of the Community & Senior Center The Woodland Community & Senior Center partners with the Yolo Food Bank for a food distribution that takes place every 2nd and 4th Wednesday at 5:00 pm. First-come, first-served. This is a walk-up food distribution. Bring your own bags or cart. The Woodland Senior Center Thrift Store will also be open from 4:00-6:00 pm on food distribution days.

SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENT EXPRESSES GRATITUDE
As part of its nonprofit mission, Woodland Senior Center Inc. offers a scholarship for college students in Gerontology programs, geriatric nursing, or other senior-related fields. SCI has already given thousands of dollars to worthy recipients.

Since then, I have become a Registered Nurse in August 2019 and started working at Shasta Regional Medical Center shortly after. I work on the Medical/Surgical unit as a floor nurse. I love what I do and am very thankful that your organization had a hand in helping me pursue my dream of becoming a nurse. I genuinely love caring for others and strive to make their experience in the hospital the best it can be!”
