SCHOLARSHIP

The Woodland Senior Center, Inc. will award a $1200 scholarship to qualified candidates attending community college, university or a professional technical school, whose educational goal will help and benefit seniors.
Scholarship funds will be granted in June of the current year. Previous scholarship recipients are not eligible. A maximum of two semester awards will be given to any recipient.

As part of its nonprofit mission, Woodland Senior Center Inc. offers a scholarship for college students in Gerontology programs, geriatric nursing, or other senior-related fields. SCI has already given thousands of dollars to worthy recipients.

Dear Woodland Senior Center Inc,

I want to express my sincere gratitude and let you all know I am honored to have been selected as the recipient of the Senior Center Inc. Scholarship. Thank you for your generosity, which has allowed me to purchase the books needed and pay for some of the classes I need to succeed in my last year of college and follow my dreams. Your earnest investment in my future goals will not be forgotten. I am excited to graduate in the Spring of 2023. I wouldn’t have been able to do it without the help of this amazing scholarship/organization.
