SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENT EXPRESSES GRATITUDE
As part of its nonprofit mission, Woodland Senior Center Inc. offers a scholarship for college students in Gerontology programs, geriatric nursing, or other senior-related fields. SCI has already given thousands of dollars to worthy recipients.

Alondra Reyes
Here is Alondra Reyes, one of two recipients of the 2023-24 SCI Scholarship for students whose career will impact us seniors. Alondra is a 2023 graduate of Cal State, Sacramento, earning a degree in Exercise Science. Her goal is graduate school, earning a doctorate in physical therapy. Congratulations! |
Henry Peterson
Henry Peterson, our one of two recipients of the SCI Scholarship Award, is currently enrolled at Cal State, Sacramento, in the Doctorate of Physical Therapy program, expecting to graduate in 2026. He is also involved with a cardio clinic that primarily treats patients over 65 with a study that examines cardo vascular rehabilitation.Congratulations! |
